Is Your Site Crawlable?

Usually we ask what we can do to make our site SEO friendly, to increase our site visibility in search engines. These are good questions. But in order for a site to be indexed and appear in search results pages, it should be crawlable.

So what we should ask is: “Is my site crawlable or not?”. How can you find out the answer? Simple, look at your site through search engine eyes. For this use a spider simulator (as Webconfs.com - Search Engine Spider Simulator) or use a text browser (as Lynx or ELinks).

If you can see your text site in a text browser this means search engines can read it. If not…. you should rethink the design of your site.
